Taylor here talking about one of our hottest classes at 6YCLE- BOOTY BURN!! First off- did you know 6YCLE is the ONLY spinning studio in the Pittsburgh area to offer all of these types of hybrid classes! This particular class combines my two absolute favorite things: spinning and leg day. I always wanted to make it a statement at the studio, and with the help, love and support from you all we made that happen! Not to mention our fabulous instructors who picked up Booty Burn classes to teach! Here’s how a typical Booty Burn class will go:
You will start on the bike for 30 minutes, 5 minute warmup right into 25 minutes of active work. Once you hit that half time and make it 30 minutes in- it’s time to work those booty’s!! We then all pop off the bike, find room on the ground and get ready to WERK! We are on the ground for 10-15 minutes, roughly 3-4 tracks of back to back booty work. I’m talkin’ squat pulses, lunge pulses, squats, squat jumps, lunges, lunge jumps, calf raises, toe ups, kick backs- you name it we do it! We will have your glutes, quads, calves and hamstrings on FIRE!!! Once we finish on the ground, we hop back on the bike for another 10 minutes of active work (which will FLY!) followed by a 5 minute cool down.
All of our classes incorporate arms, shoulders, back and core- so even though we focus on the booty in this styled class we are still getting in a FULL body workout. Each and every class is a FULL body workout- and that’s what makes 6YCLE so unique!
